AI and Automation Solution Delivery Consultant

We seek a skilled AI and Automation Solution Delivery Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions utilizing the IBM watsonx platform, including watsonx Assistant, watsonx Orchestrate, Watson Discovery, watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, and watsonx.governance. These tools collectively empower enterprises to scale and accelerate the impact of AI across their business by leveraging data wherever it resides.

As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing these technologies to drive innovation and efficiency for our clients.

• Design and Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and architect solutions using the IBM watsonx platforms.
• Implementation: Develop, test, and deploy AI and automation solutions tailored to project specifications.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration of watsonx solutions with existing systems and workflows.
• Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune deployed solutions for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of developed solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and maintenance procedures.

• Technical Expertise:
  • Programming Proficiency: Strong skills in programming languages such as Python are essential for developing and deploying AI models.
  • Backend Development: Experience with backend technologies and frameworks is crucial for integrating AI solutions into existing infrastructures.
  • Data Management: Familiarity with data lake architectures and data warehousing solutions is essential for handling large datasets and ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.
  • API Integration: Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs is essential for programmatically interacting with IBM watsonx services. This includes tasks such as model deployment, inference, and data management. Experience with IBM's specific APIs, such as the watsonx.ai REST API and Data and AI Common Core API, is highly beneficial.
• IBM watsonx Platform Proficiency:
  • watsonx Assistant: Ability to design and implement conversational AI solutions, utilizing visual builders and integrating with various channels and business systems.
  • watsonx Orchestrate: Skill in creating AI assistants and agents to automate tasks, with knowledge of prebuilt connectors and skills for seamless integration.
  • Watson Discovery: Experience deploying AI solutions for information retrieval and data extraction tasks.
  • watsonx.ai: Proficiency in utilizing AI and machine learning models, including experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI capabilities.
  • watsonx.data: Understanding of data management solutions, including data lakehouse architectures, to support scalable analytics and AI workloads.
  • watsonx.governance: Knowledge of AI governance practices to ensure compliance and ethical considerations in AI deployments.
• Integration and Automation:
  • Workflow Automation: Ability to design and implement automated workflows that enhance operational efficiency.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess complex requirements and develop innovative AI solutions.
• Communication Skills: Proficiency in articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and collaboration.
• Project Management: Demonstrated capability to manage projects effectively, adhere to timelines, and work independently.
• English Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English to facilitate effective communication within the team and with clients.

• Certifications: While certifications such as IBM Certified watsonx Assistant AI Engineer or similar credentials are advantageous, they are not mandatory.
