Solution Architect

We seek a skilled Solution Architect to join our team on a 12-month contract basis, compensated hourly per project. In this remote role, you will support the Chief Intelligence Officer (CIO) in designing and implementing AI solutions utilizing IBM's watsonx tools—including Orchestrate, Assistant, Discovery, and the watsonx AI platform—and other relevant technologies. You will assist in managing the technical team, oversee project execution, and help the CIOs with their responsibilities. Your project management skills will ensure that projects align with business objectives and are delivered on time and within scope.

• Solution Development: Collaborate with the CIO and technical team to design and develop AI solutions that meet client requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
• Technical Support: Assist the CIO in providing technical guidance for client-facing engagements, ensuring the integration of a broad range of public and hybrid cloud technologies.
• Team Coordination: Help manage and coordinate the technical team, fostering collaboration and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Project Management: Oversee project planning and execution, utilizing project management methodologies to ensure timely and successful delivery of AI solutions.
• Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their business processes and challenges, co-creating AI solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Architecture Design: Contribute to designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions and services tailored to customer needs.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and refine AI models to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies to inform solution design and implementation.

• Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. However, practical experience and a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt are highly valued.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in hybrid cloud technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, Containers, and Red Hat OpenShift
  • Experience with IBM's watsonx suite of offerings and IBM Cloud
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
  • Understanding of data science open-source technologies, including Ollama, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Spark
  • Experience with data manipulation and AI frameworks
• Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
• Communication Skills: Ability to deliver compelling presentations and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Team Collaboration: Experience working in collaborative team environments, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
• Language Skills: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

It provides access to IBM Learning Resources, equipping you with essential tools and knowledge. Business Logix covers the full cost of this training; however, participants will not receive compensation during the training period. Earning the IBM-branded digital credentials through this training is mandatory; failure to complete the training within the allotted time will result in the discontinuation of the pilot program.
