Business Logix LLC respects privacy and handles personal and client information in a practical, transparent, and security-conscious manner. This Policy is designed to address applicable United States and Texas privacy requirements while reflecting how we operate our website, events, training, consulting, and AI-assisted services.
1. Scope and purpose
This Privacy Policy explains how Business Logix LLC ("Business Logix," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal data through our website, communications, events, seminars, workshops, corporate training, consulting, implementation support, and other business services.
This Policy applies to individuals who interact with us in a personal or household capacity. Information processed in an employment or business-to-business capacity may be excluded from certain state consumer privacy rights, but we still handle that information according to applicable law, contracts, and our confidentiality commitments.
A contract, statement of work, nondisclosure agreement, event release, or client-specific data-processing agreement may provide additional or more specific requirements. If those terms conflict with this Policy, the more specific applicable terms govern.
2. Personal data we collect
Information you provide
Contact and identity information, such as name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, company, and job title.
Registration and participation information for seminars, workshops, webinars, courses, networking events, and private corporate training.
Communications, appointment requests, survey responses, evaluations, support requests, and other information you submit.
Transaction and billing information. Payment card data may be collected directly by a payment processor; Business Logix may receive transaction status and limited billing details rather than full card information.
Client and project information supplied during assessments, consulting, training, implementation, or support engagements, including operational, financial, workforce, process, technology, and business records.
Photographs, audio, video, chat messages, questions, and other participation content when an event or session is recorded or documented with notice or consent as required.
Information collected automatically
Device and browser data, IP address, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, dates and times of access, cookie identifiers, and website activity.
Security and diagnostic information used to maintain the website, prevent misuse, troubleshoot issues, and understand performance.
Sensitive data
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data through general website forms or public training activities. If sensitive data is necessary for a client engagement, we limit collection to what is reasonably necessary, apply appropriate safeguards, and obtain consent when required by applicable law.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account credentials, health information, precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, or other highly sensitive data through general contact, registration, chat, or public training channels unless Business Logix has specifically authorized a secure method.
3. Sources of personal data
We collect personal data directly from you; from your employer or organization when it registers you or engages us; from event hosts, sponsors, referral partners, and authorized business partners; from service providers that support registration, communications, scheduling, payments, website operations, or analytics; and automatically when you use our website or online services.
4. How and why we use personal data
We use personal data when reasonably necessary to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested information.
- Register and communicate with participants; administer events, seminars, workshops, courses, and corporate training.
- Perform contracts and deliver consulting, training, assessments, implementation, support, and related services.
- Schedule appointments, process transactions, maintain records, and provide customer service.
- Personalize and improve our website, learning experiences, communications, and services.
- Evaluate attendance, participation, learning outcomes, satisfaction, and program effectiveness.
- Send operational messages and, where permitted, marketing communications.
- Protect our systems, participants, clients, rights, property, and safety; detect fraud, misuse, or security incidents.
- Comply with law, legal process, tax, accounting, insurance, and contractual requirements.
- Create aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual.
5. Events, seminars, workshops, and training
Registration and attendance
We use registration and attendance information to administer the activity, communicate changes, provide materials, document participation, issue certificates when offered, evaluate the activity, and maintain appropriate business records.
Participant disclosures
Public or group learning environments are not confidential forums. Participants must not disclose personal, proprietary, regulated, or confidential information unless they are authorized to do so and the session has an approved method for handling it. Information voluntarily shared in a group discussion may be seen or heard by other participants, and Business Logix cannot guarantee that other participants will keep it confidential.
Private corporate training
For private corporate training, we use client and participant information only for the engagement and related business administration, subject to the applicable contract, statement of work, nondisclosure agreement, or data-processing terms.
Photography and recording
We may photograph or record an event, webinar, presentation, or training session for educational, documentation, quality, or promotional purposes. We will provide notice when recording is planned and obtain consent when required. When reasonably feasible, participants may ask not to appear in promotional photographs or recordings. Separate releases may apply. Participants may not independently record a session or other attendees unless authorized by Business Logix and permitted by law.
Evaluations and reports
We may use feedback, assessments, and outcome information to improve services and prepare internal, client, sponsor, or partner reports. We use aggregated or de-identified information for external reporting unless an individual or organization has authorized identifiable use.
6. Artificial intelligence and privacy
AI-assisted services
Business Logix may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, and AI assistants to support research, organization, analysis, drafting, training demonstrations, workflow design, and service delivery. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and is subject to appropriate human review before material client use or delivery.
Data minimization and approved use
We limit AI inputs to information reasonably necessary for the approved purpose. We use de-identification, redaction, synthetic examples, access restrictions, or other safeguards when appropriate. Public training demonstrations should use fictional, synthetic, de-identified, or otherwise authorized information.
Sensitive and confidential client information
When a client identifies information as sensitive or confidential, Business Logix will evaluate the appropriate processing environment with the client. Depending on the engagement, this may include a local model, self-hosted environment, private enterprise AI service, restricted-access workflow, or a decision not to use AI for that information. The selected method may be documented in the applicable agreement or project plan.
Local models
Local-model processing is used when specified for sensitive information by the client and accepted in the engagement scope. Local processing can reduce disclosure to external AI providers, but it does not eliminate all privacy or security risk. Access controls, device security, retention, backups, logging, and human handling remain important.
Model training
Business Logix does not intentionally use confidential client information or personal data to train publicly available AI models unless the client or individual has expressly authorized that use and the use is lawful. Third-party AI providers may process information according to their own contracts and privacy terms; we evaluate those services for the intended use and apply contractual or technical controls when appropriate.
Automated decisions
We do not use solely automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning consumers unless disclosed and permitted by applicable law. Material business, financial, legal, employment, or client decisions remain subject to authorized human judgment.
Your responsibility
Clients and participants must provide only information they are authorized to disclose and must follow their own legal, contractual, security, and industry requirements. Business Logix may decline to process information when the proposed use creates unacceptable privacy, confidentiality, security, or legal risk.
7. Cookies and online technologies
Our website and service providers may use cookies, pixels, logs, and similar technologies that are necessary for website operation, security, preferences, analytics, or communications. Where required, we provide choices regarding non-essential technologies.
You may adjust browser settings or available cookie controls. Blocking some technologies may affect website operation. We honor legally required opt-out preference signals when they apply and are technically detectable.
8. How we disclose personal data
We may disclose personal data to:
- Service providers and processors that support website hosting, email, event registration, learning delivery, scheduling, payments, analytics, document management, security, customer support, and business operations.
- A client organization, event host, sponsor, or authorized partner when necessary to administer a program or fulfill an agreement, consistent with applicable notice and authorization.
- Professional advisers, insurers, auditors, and financing or transaction advisers subject to appropriate duties.
- Government authorities, courts, regulators, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, or property.
- A successor or involved party in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
- Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
Business Logix does not sell personal data for money. We do not knowingly sell personal data of children. If our practices constitute a 'sale,' 'targeted advertising,' or qualifying profiling under an applicable state privacy law, eligible consumers may opt out as described below.
9. Texas and other U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, the law that applies to Business Logix, and applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data.
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data.
- Delete personal data provided by or obtained about you.
- Obtain a portable copy of personal data you previously provided, when required.
- Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling in furtherance of decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
- Withdraw consent for processing sensitive data when processing is based on consent.
- Not receive unlawful discrimination for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Texas consumer rights generally apply to Texas residents acting in an individual or household context, not to individuals acting in a commercial or employment context. Certain organizations, data, and processing activities are exempt under Texas law.
To exercise a right, email info@businesslogixllc.com with the subject 'Privacy Request' or use the contact method listed on our website. Describe the request and the state in which you reside. We may request information reasonably necessary to authenticate your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and verification of the consumer.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject 'Privacy Appeal' and explaining the basis for the appeal. We will review and respond as required by applicable law. If a Texas appeal is denied, we will provide information on how to contact the Texas Attorney General to submit a complaint.
Where required, we recognize qualifying universal opt-out preference signals for sale or targeted advertising. Because we do not currently sell personal data for money, an opt-out may not change our present practices.
10. Marketing communications
We may send marketing emails when permitted by law. Marketing emails will identify the sender, provide a valid postal address, and include a functioning unsubscribe method. You may opt out at any time through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional communications concerning registrations, transactions, services, security, legal notices, or an existing relationship.
We do not send marketing text messages without the consent required by applicable law. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.
11. Children's privacy
Our website and services are directed to businesses, professionals, and adult learners and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent when required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can evaluate and delete it as appropriate.
Programs involving minors, if any, will use separate registration, consent, and privacy procedures appropriate to the activity and applicable law.
12. Data security and incident response
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and our operations. Measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption offered by service platforms, data minimization, confidentiality obligations, secure configuration, backups, and vendor review.
No security program can guarantee absolute protection. If a breach of system security involves sensitive personal information and triggers notification duties, Business Logix will provide notices to affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable Texas and U.S. law.
13. Data retention and disposal
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including service delivery, event administration, participant records, certificates, client support, contracts, accounting, tax, insurance, dispute resolution, security, legal compliance, and enforcement of agreements.
Retention periods vary by data type, business need, client instructions, legal obligations, and technical constraints such as backup cycles. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, destroy, de-identify, or securely archive it. Client contracts may establish more specific retention or return requirements.
14. Third-party services and links
Our website and services may link to or use third-party services, including registration, scheduling, communications, collaboration, payment, analytics, social media, and AI platforms. Those providers may collect information directly and process it under their own notices and contracts. This Policy does not control independent third-party practices. Review the relevant provider's privacy terms before submitting information.
15. Interstate and international processing
Business Logix is based in Texas, United States. Personal data may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. When required, we use appropriate contractual, technical, or organizational measures for cross-border processing.
16. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, services, or business practices. The revised version will be posted with a new 'Last updated' date. When required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change applies.
