These Training Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in training activities and educational offerings provided by Business Logix LLC ("Business Logix," "we," "our," or "us").

These Terms establish expectations regarding:

  • Registration and payment
  • Attendance and participation
  • Participant substitutions
  • Cancellations and training credits
  • Certificates
  • Training materials and intellectual property
  • Photography and recordings
  • Participant responsibilities
  • Professional and outcome-related disclaimers

Registration for or participation in a Business Logix training activity constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

2. Scope

These Terms apply to:

  • Seminars
  • Workshops
  • Training courses
  • Certificate programs
  • Workforce development programs
  • Learning pathways
  • Accelerator programs
  • Cohort-based programs
  • Professional development programs
  • Working sessions
  • Advisory training engagements
  • AI training programs
  • Public and open-enrollment training
  • Virtual and hybrid training
  • Sponsored educational programs
  • Other educational offerings provided by Business Logix

Corporate and private training provided under a separate written agreement is governed primarily by that agreement.

3. Registration and Enrollment

Registration is not complete until required registration information has been provided, applicable payment requirements have been satisfied, and Business Logix confirms enrollment.

Business Logix may limit enrollment, establish prerequisites, verify eligibility, refuse or cancel registration when reasonably appropriate, and correct administrative or pricing errors. Participants are responsible for providing accurate and current information.

4. Fees and Payment

Applicable fees and payment requirements will be identified during registration or in the applicable offer. Business Logix may accept credit cards, electronic payments, corporate invoicing, or other approved payment methods.

Business Logix may modify pricing, offer promotions or discounts, and establish registration or payment deadlines. Published pricing does not apply retroactively. Any invoicing or payment terms stated in a separate written agreement control for that engagement.

5. Participant Cancellation and Training Credits

Credit-Only Policy

Business Logix uses a training-credit model rather than a cash-refund model, except where a refund is required by law or expressly approved in writing by Business Logix. Training credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash.

Cancellation More Than Seven Calendar Days Before the Training

A participant who provides written cancellation notice more than seven calendar days before the scheduled start may receive a training credit equal to the eligible amount paid. The credit may be applied to an eligible future Business Logix seminar, workshop, course, program, or training activity, subject to availability, prerequisites, expiration terms communicated with the credit, and any price difference.

Cancellation Seven Calendar Days or Less Before the Training

Registrations canceled seven calendar days or less before the scheduled start are non-refundable. Business Logix may, at its sole discretion and where extraordinary circumstances are documented, issue a training credit.

No-Shows

A participant who does not attend and does not provide prior notice is considered a no-show. No-shows are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer except where required by law or expressly approved by Business Logix.

6. Participant Substitutions

A registered participant may request substitution by another individual from the same organization before the training activity. Approval is subject to reasonable advance notice, receipt of updated participant information, satisfaction of prerequisites, seat availability, and operational considerations. Business Logix may deny a substitution when reasonably necessary.

7. Cancellation, Rescheduling, or Changes by Business Logix

Business Logix may reschedule or cancel a training activity, change an instructor, adjust an agenda, relocate an activity, or change the delivery method when reasonably necessary. Causes may include low enrollment, instructor unavailability, facility issues, technology failures, severe weather, public-safety concerns, emergencies, or events beyond reasonable control.

If Business Logix cancels a training activity, it may provide a training credit, transfer the participant to another eligible session, or offer another remedy stated in the cancellation notice. Business Logix is not responsible for travel, lodging, lost wages, or other participant expenses except where required by law or agreed in writing.

8. Attendance and Participation

Participants are expected to attend scheduled sessions, participate respectfully, satisfy applicable prerequisites, follow instructor directions, and comply with program requirements and related Business Logix policies.

Business Logix may deny entry, suspend access, or remove a participant for misconduct, disruption, safety concerns, unauthorized recording, policy violations, or failure to satisfy material program requirements.

9. Certificates of Participation and Completion

Business Logix may issue certificates of participation or completion for eligible training activities. Business Logix may establish attendance, participation, assessment, assignment, and completion requirements before issuing a certificate.

Certificates document participation or completion only. Unless expressly stated in writing, they do not constitute academic credit, professional licensure, third-party professional certification, regulatory qualification, or employment qualification.

10. Training Materials and Intellectual Property

Training materials may include slides, workbooks, templates, exercises, assessments, frameworks, guides, videos, recordings, and handouts. Unless otherwise stated, they remain the property of Business Logix or the applicable licensor.

Authorized participants may use materials for personal learning and internal business purposes. Without written permission, participants may not resell, republish, redistribute, publicly post, modify for commercial use, create derivative commercial products, remove proprietary notices, or use the materials to deliver competing training.

11. Photography, Recording, and Virtual Sessions

Training activities may be photographed, recorded, livestreamed, or archived for educational, operational, quality, documentation, or authorized participant-access purposes. Notice and consent will be provided where required.

If recordings are provided, access is limited to authorized users and may be time-limited. Recordings may not be copied, downloaded unless enabled, redistributed, sold, shared, uploaded, or publicly posted without written permission. Participants may not independently record sessions or other participants unless authorized by Business Logix and permitted by law.

12. Confidentiality During Training

Public seminars, workshops, webinars, networking activities, and open-enrollment programs are not confidential environments. Participants must not disclose trade secrets, proprietary information, customer information, confidential business information, regulated data, sensitive personal information, or information they are not authorized to disclose.

Business Logix cannot guarantee the confidentiality of information voluntarily shared by a participant in a public or group environment. Private or corporate training may be subject to separate confidentiality terms.

13. Artificial Intelligence Training and Exercises

Business Logix may provide training involving AI assistants, AI agents, automation platforms, and other artificial intelligence technologies. Participants should use sample, fictional, synthetic, anonymous, de-identified, public, or otherwise authorized data.

Participants must not enter confidential, proprietary, regulated, personal, healthcare, financial-account, client, or other sensitive information into a training or demonstration system unless specifically authorized. Participants remain responsible for information they submit, the accounts and systems they use, and compliance with their organization’s rules.

14. Technology and Participant Requirements

Participants are responsible for reviewing communicated prerequisites and, when applicable, providing a suitable device, compatible software, internet access, account credentials, licenses, and permissions needed to participate. Business Logix does not guarantee that every third-party platform, device, browser, network, or account will function without interruption.

Participants must not share access credentials or allow an unauthorized person to use a registration, virtual-session link, recording, account, or licensed resource.

15. No Guarantee of Results

Business Logix does not guarantee that participation will result in:

  • Business growth, increased revenue, profitability, or cost savings
  • Financing, loan, grant, or investment approval
  • Workforce, operational, or process improvements
  • AI adoption or technology implementation success
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Employment, promotion, client acquisition, or competitive advantage
  • Achievement of a particular business or professional objective

Results depend on factors outside Business Logix control, including participant effort, decisions, implementation, resources, organizational support, data quality, market conditions, and third-party performance.

16. No Professional Advice

Training content is educational and informational. Unless expressly provided under a separate written agreement by an appropriately qualified professional, Business Logix does not provide legal advice, tax advice, accounting or audit services, investment or securities advice, insurance advice, medical advice, or formal regulatory opinions through its training activities.

Participants should obtain qualified professional advice before making specialized legal, tax, accounting, lending, investment, insurance, regulatory, compliance, or other professional decisions.

17. Accessibility and Accommodations

Business Logix strives to support reasonable accommodations. Participants requesting an accommodation should contact Business Logix as early as reasonably possible before the training activity.

Requests will be evaluated based on the nature of the activity, available resources, safety, facility or platform capabilities, and applicable law. For shared or third-party facilities, some building or venue modifications remain under the control of the owner, property manager, or operator.

18. Personal Property and Third-Party Facilities

Participants are responsible for personal property and for complying with applicable facility, venue, building, platform, and property-management rules. Business Logix is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unattended belongings except as required by law.

When training is held in a shared or third-party facility, Business Logix does not control general building operations, parking, elevators, security systems, utilities, accessibility systems, or common-area conditions.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Logix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, opportunities, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from participation in training or reliance on training materials.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

20. Relationship to Other Policies and Agreements

These Terms operate with the Business Logix Privacy Policy, Event Participation & Code of Conduct Policy, Responsible AI & Data Handling Statement, Website Terms of Use, and any applicable registration terms.

A separate corporate training agreement, master services agreement, statement of work, sponsorship agreement, program agreement, or other signed contract may modify or supersede these Terms. If there is a conflict, the more specific applicable written agreement controls.

21. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law and an enforceable written agreement providing otherwise, disputes relating to these Terms will be brought in a state or federal court with appropriate jurisdiction in Texas.

22. Changes to These Terms

Business Logix may revise these Terms for future registrations to reflect changes in law, services, pricing models, delivery methods, technology, or business practices. Updated Terms will be posted or otherwise made available with a revised effective or last-updated date.
